Tom Cashin joined Shorenstein in 1995. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s property management and construction activities for all investments in the Western United States. He is also responsible for the physical and financial due diligence for all acquisitions, financings and dispositions in his region.
Mr. Cashin is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association and the Institute of Real Estate Management. Mr. Cashin is a co-founder of San Francisco’s Transportation Management Association and Central Employment Brokerage Association.
Prior to joining Shorenstein, Mr. Cashin was an assistant property manager with Hines Interests in Minneapolis and later worked as a property manager in San Francisco.
Mr. Cashin graduated from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis with a B.S., and from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul with an M.B.A.
