Brandon Shorenstein joined Shorenstein in 2012. After spending two years in the company’s New York office focused on capital transactions and asset management, he relocated to San Francisco in 2014 to assume the role of executive vice president. He became vice chairman in 2016 and participates in the strategic direction of the company as a member of its executive committee and in the company’s investment activities as a member of its investment committee. In his role as vice chairman, he oversees the company’s fund management and human resources functions. He is also responsible for overseeing the investment performance of an office and multifamily portfolio owned by the Shorenstein family.
Mr. Shorenstein serves as a co-chair on the Advisory Board for the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
Prior to joining Shorenstein, Mr. Shorenstein was an associate at Eastdil Secured on its investment sales team handling office, retail and hospitality transactions in the New York metro area. Previously, he was an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs & Co.
